The manufacturing process of galvanized steel coil mainly includes the following steps:
Substrate preparation: Select a suitable substrate, usually cold-rolled sheet, common materials are SGCC, SGHC, DC51D+Z, DC52, DC53, SGCD1,SGH340 ST12 etc., to ensure product quality.
Pickling purification: Soak the substrate in a pickling tank containing hydrochloric acid to remove impurities such as rust, oil and oxide on the surface for subsequent treatment.
Cold rolling: The pickled substrate is sent to the cold rolling mill and cold rolled to the required thickness by rolling.
Galvanizing: The cold-rolled sheet is sent to the galvanizing tank, and after being soaked and filled with galvanizing liquid, a layer of zinc is formed on the surface of the substrate to increase its corrosion resistance.
Drying and cooling: The galvanized coil is dried and cooled by drying equipment or air cooling equipment to solidify the zinc layer and reduce the temperature.
Cutting and leveling: The galvanized coil is cut into the required size and adjusted by a leveling machine to make the surface of the coil flat.
Inspection and quality control: The cold-rolled galvanized coils are inspected for quality, including appearance inspection, dimension measurement, zinc layer thickness inspection, etc., to ensure that the product quality meets the standard requirements.
Packaging and delivery: The cold-rolled galvanized coils that have passed the quality inspection are packaged, and logistics operations such as warehousing and delivery are carried out to prepare for delivery to customers.

Galvanized steel coil is a thin sheet of metal coated with zinc to prevent corrosion on the surface of the steel coil and extend its service life.Galvanized steel coils can be divided into the following categories according to production and processing methods:
Hot dip galvanized steel coil. A thin steel coil that is immersed in a molten zinc bath to adhere a layer of zinc to its surface.
Alloyed galvanized steel coil. This type of steel coil is also manufactured using the hot dip method, but immediately after being removed from the groove, it is heated to around 500 ºC to form an alloy coating of zinc and iron.
Electrogalvanized steel coil. Manufacturing this galvanized steel coil using electroplating method has good processability.Single sided and double sided differential galvanized steel coils. Single sided galvanized steel coil refers to a product that is only galvanized on one side.
Alloy and composite galvanized steel coil. It is a steel coil made of zinc and other metals such as lead, zinc, and even composite plating.
Galvanized steel coil Z-normal zinc flake: Zinc flake obtained by crystallization at normal cooling rate, can be used for general purposes: X-small zinc flake: The cooling rate is specially controlled, and the size of zinc flake is smaller than that of normal zinc flake, suitable for painting and other occasions where normal zinc flake cannot meet the requirements; GZ Finish Zinc Flower: Small zinc flowers have undergone finishing treatment and are suitable for deep drawing and ultra deep drawing processing, as well as occasions with low surface roughness requirements.
